Before we post tonights cook Tonight's Installment - Flintstones Steak a.k.a. Tomahawk Steak I just HAD to post a couple pictures of our first tailgate...
The food selection was as UNORIGINAL as humanly possible; with the remnants of Tropical Depression Isaac bearing down on the stadium and 80% of rain for the entire day, we decided to cut back on food prep BUT go ahead with the set up and festivities regardless. Basics, Hot Dogs, Cheeseburger's (with Steak and Shake seasoning), chips and a couple side dishes. Next Week GEORGIA! We'll have to arrive early and ramp up the food selection for that game for sure! Go SEC!
Moved to a Three (3) tent set up this year, one for food and drinks, one for socializing and one for cooking and storage. Seemed to work until the rain started pouring during the game and we ended up with a dead tent and four ruined chairs during the rush to pack. Game casualties we'll figure out as the year progresses.
The highlight of the day = Our seats in the Presidents Box on the 50 Yard Line! (and out of the rain)...
