No more LaBomba and NO WAY to buy more???? Apparently this stuff is sold ONLY in Canada and is not approved for shipment across the boader or something strange like that...I need a source. I have googled this until my fingers blead to no avail. I need my Labomba Fix!!! I am on a world wide search for the perfect copycat or copycat recipe...or a source to buy this stuff!!!Even my RED LASER iPhone application indicated it could not locate this item from the barcode scan....wow!
you are in luck, like me, a day with out La Bomba is a day without la bomba, so i also searched for a knock off, and because my garden is just produced the most beautiful eggplants, long story short, feeling for you

my changes, first i am going to salt and drain the eggplant (toss in salt, when water comes out, wipe with paper towels or clean cotton kitchen cloth) then i am first going to saute the mushrooms and eggplant only. put aside, then the the carrots and peppers,put aside, then the chili flakes, lower amount of artichoke hearts (opps forgot to mention higher amount of eggplant). all three are now sitting, let sit, for about an hour, in low heat if you can (like a 150 oven with the door slightly ajar), then start putting together and adding lemon and such.
as well, i am going to be canning mine so i can use up my garden full of egg plant, so i am going to be using more oil, more salt, oh yah, one more thing, really good quality olives, the betterthe quatlity the better la bomba. if you are in toronto, i recommend a place at donlands and danforth, called, the greatest olives or something like that.
