Breaking the grill in for the summer requires a more traditional cook, tonight it was Sliders and Beans. For this cook I used a special Slider Rack and the Emile Henry Cassoulet for the cook.
1 Lb. Lean Ground Beef
Country Bob’s BBQ Sauce
1 – 20 Oz. Can; Bushes Baked Beans
½ Small Sweet Onion, diced
1. Mix the ground beef with a couple tablespoons of Country Bob’s and celery salt and garlic pepper (to taste). Place in burger shaper (comes with the slider rack) and place in rack.
2. Fire up the Egg to full flame and when hot place beans, diced onions and a large dollop of Beer mustard in the beans into your Emile Henry Cassoulet pot and place on the grill.
3. Place slider rack on grid and let cook for 2-3 minutes, turn once and let finish to desired doneness.
Remove and serve with cocktail buns and your favorite condiments.
