Labor Day Burgers (last minute)

We learned about 90 minutes before dinnertime that the plans we had were moved to Tuesday...so we went freezer diving, fired up the Rösle Kettle Grill with the Kingsford and quick thawed some amazing 1/2 pound Steak Burgers and 1/3 pound Premium Ground beef burgers from Missouri Legacy Beef...yes, we COULD have put them on the grill frozen, but I reserve that for tailgating only personally.

Ingredients
  • 2 - 1/2 Lb. Steak Burgers (Missouri Legacy Free Range Beef)
  • 3 - 1/3 Lb. Premium Ground Beef Burgers (Missouri Legacy Free Range Beef)
  • Jailbreak Steak Rub
  • Provolone Cheese (6 slices)
Directions
  1. Fire up the grill to high heat, rub burgers with Jailbreak rub and place on grill.  Cover and let sear/simmer for 1-2 minutes
  2. Flip, repeat, melt cheese, remove and serve.

Served with Butter Beans and Relish, and Niblets Corn in the microwave.  Not a real challenging cook tonight, but we are full and the dishes are done!  Happy Labor Day...Back to the GRIND tomorrow!   Keep On Eggin!

  1. I don't think I could move after a 1/2 burger, I'm such a lightweight, lol.
