Full Nest for Turkey Day...

It was great having the family together in Mizzouri for our first Thanksgiving since leavng Florida.  The turkey above is the result of the recipe posted below...added butter to the skin not listed previously.  Cooked about 2 hours and 45 minutes at 350 degrees.

  2. I recently adapted a Cook's Ill. recipe - grill roasted turkey breast. Overview - skin it carefully and reserve, debone, apply rub to all the pieces, put halves together for even cooking, replace the skin, tie it up, let set in the frig for a day. Cook indirect @ about 300 degrees at the dome until meat temp reaches 165, pull and rest before slicing. I've done a lot of turkeys but this was the best.
