Now that I dropped 25 pounds I am grilling again, but the heavy beef dishes are going to go by the way of more of my one dish meals...then the snow will come and unless I get something built over my grill I'll be in semi retirement again for the winter. Stuff the green peppers with this mixture (press and fill - meat will shrink as it cooks). In the meantime, I have made a meatless spaghetti sauce (or use jarred sauce - doctoring until tastes like mine with many of same spices added to meat mixture). Place stuffed peppers upright in baking dish next to each other. Spoon sauce over and around green peppers so they are covered with the sauce (or as close to covered as you can get). Start with baking dish covered. Uncover for last 30 minutes. Bake in 350 degree oven until green pepper very soft and meat mixture cooked through (1-1/2 to 2 hours)(may take longer but house with smell incredible). Place green pepper and sauce (and I always make extra meatless spaghetti sauce) over spaghetti. Cover with romano and parmesan. Serve. I have never heard complaints. This was a special dish requested for birthday dinners when we got to ask for anything we wanted.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6745671275341224259.post-37335359975387283052013-06-03T14:35:21.090-05:002013-06-03T14:35:21.090-05:00Stopping by from Patriotic Pam's~ What a great...Stopping by from Patriotic Pam's~ What a great recipe:) Lynn @ Turnips 2 TangerinesTurnips 2 Tangerineshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17077358746766194129noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6745671275341224259.post-53018553226245683952013-06-03T12:22:58.984-05:002013-06-03T12:22:58.984-05:00Rain. it was when I first put it on, thought about...Rain. it was when I first put it on, thought about wiping it off but didnt...Tonyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00477002298854790644noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6745671275341224259.post-85707794000337958512013-06-03T12:11:44.743-05:002013-06-03T12:11:44.743-05:00Is the liquid on the outside of the tangine just r...Is the liquid on the outside of the tangine just rain or did that come from the cooking process?
